Join us and fellow Firecracker Foundation Supporte Join us and fellow Firecracker Foundation Supporters this April 28th for Michigan’s very first Survivors Speak MI Advocacy Day & Healing Vigil! Register at: https://bit.ly/speakTFF

If you register for the event with the link above, and attend, TFF will receive $100! Your presence represents an entire therapy session for one of the children we serve.

This newly-annual event will be held at the state capital, where we will gather with folks from across the state. If you attend you will be in the company of hundreds of survivors of violence, survivor allies, and state & community leaders invested in ending interpersonal violence.

The structure of the day is two-fold:

💜 From 12:00-2:30: Healing Activities and lunch outside on the capitol lawn, while advocates meet with elected officials to encourage them to support survivors of violence through legislative action.

"Black Mamas have always been the guide and bridge "Black Mamas have always been the guide and bridge for families, communities, movements, and waves of change. The time is now to invest in the advancement in the movement for racial and birth justice. The historical atrocities we work against are deeply rooted in racial and reproductive oppression bent on controlling Black liberation and must be countered with community activation and prioritizing Black Mamas across the African Diaspora." — Black Mamas Matter Alliance
