Today we welcome, Taylor Vander Hyde as she takes on her role as Fund Development and Event Planner Intern.
Taylor is a junior at Michigan State University. She is devoted to advocating for human rights, and is eager to begin working in the nonprofit sector.
As a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a community service fraternity, she has served as the Health and Wellness chairperson since May of 2013. Taylor is a Spanish major, enjoys foreign films, being outside, hanging out with her friends, and watching YouTube videos for hours at a time.
She also works as a night receptionist, which gives her a lot of time to read books. Upon her graduation next year, Taylor hopes to gain experience by volunteering with AmeriCorps. Taylor is dedicated to learning and collecting knowledge and experience so she can help in whatever way possible in the fight for human rights.
