TFF’s Perinatal Advocacy and Labor Support (PALS) services provides Full Spectrum Doula Support for pregnant and parenting teens of color between the ages of 12 and 24.

WHO WE ARE

TFF’s PALS Coordinator and contracted birthworkers are trained in evidence-based models to advocate for a better birth for you wherever you choose to give birth.

Childbirth Education

Do you want to have more confidence and clarity going into your birth? Our Childbirth Education classes are for you! 

TFF PALS offers classes, taught by a birth professional, tailored to pregnant and parenting teens and their partners/families. Our classes are taught with your ideal birth experience in mind. Our goal is to help you feel prepared to care for yourself and your baby at home. 

Class topics include: 

  • Pregnancy and Healthy Lifestyles 
  • Physical and Emotional changes during pregnancy
  • Developing a Birth Plan
  • Phases and Stages of Labor 
  • Medical Interventions
  • Comfort Measures
  • Strategies to build confidence and advocate for yourself
