Wade will not only restrict our access to gender affirming and reproductive health, it will become the trigger point for more children to experience child sexual abuse.

Healing justice means we don’t have the luxury or the ability to focus on just healing. We must also dismantle and remantle the systems and institutions that terrorized our ancestors and elders and continue to terrorize us today.

“Stonewall Forever brings together queer activists, experienced and new, to look at the movement for LGBTQ equality before, during and after Stonewall. It highlights trans people, people of color and homeless people who were at the forefront of the movement, and who have often been erased from the narrative. It explores how the activism of today stands on the shoulders of the activists who have come before. And it asks us all to recognize the legacy of Stonewall that remains today, when the struggle for queer rights is far from over.”

Marsha “Pay no mind” Johnson! A Black trans wo Marsha “Pay no mind” Johnson! A Black trans woman stood at the forefront of the gay liberation movement for a quarter of a century. She was an icon not only fighting for gay liberation but stood during protests regarding oppressive over policing, founded a safe space for transgender and homeless youth, and advocated for sex workers, prisoners, and people with HIV/AIDS. She was a force and will never be forgotten. Watch this quick video that highlights her life or read the associated article.
